3D Circus Sealion Prop

I just love this guy! He is so whimsical and charming. Ok, he doesn’t serve much purpose other than to put a smile on people’s faces but surely that’s purpose enough!
He is also ridiculously simple to make with just a few easy steps and best of all; no gluing or fixing required

You will need:
  • OSB, MDF, plywood or similar
  • Pencil
  • Jigsaw
  • Paint
The first step is to mark out the parts onto your chosen material following the images as a guide. If you’re feeling a bit more daring and are confident using a Jigsaw You could use good quality plywood, OSB or MDF. Or if you’d sooner stick to good old fashioned scissors and craft knives then you could even use thick cardboard.
Once cut out you simply need to slot the parts together, add a lick of paint and hey presto! The possibilities are endless with this make- you could adapt your design to suit any scheme. Perhaps a pineapple or a cactus for a more grown up space?
DISCALIMER: Some materials such as OSB present a risk of splinters. Additionally, the constructed 3D Sealion has some pointy features and as such should not be used as a toy.
